Introduction:
I am a forth year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at Northwestern University and I have been specializing in MEMS and NEMS technologies. I've worked on many projects with the Espinosa Group including a microfluidics application of dielectrophoretic manipulation of microbeads and carbon nanotubes. I have also worked on implementing a MEMS gyroscope as an angular feedback control on robot. I am pursuing a Co-operative Education Certificate and work full time at the Rise Group in downtown chicago. The Rise Group does project management for large scale engineering projects. I am also pursuing a Business Basics Certificate.
Engineering Humor (oh no!):
A Cardiologist, a Biomedical Engineer, and a professor of Nanotechnology were all driving to the airport when they were car-jacked by two thugs with guns. The thugs told the three scientists to get out so they could shoot them and take their car. The Cardiologist got out first and said, "Please don't shoot me. I fix people's hearts and help people live happy lives...I help make the world a better place!" The thugs looked at each other and shot him in the head. The Nanotechnology professor got out of the car next, but before he could say anything, the Biomedical Engineer jumped in front of him and said, "Please! just shoot me now before I have to hear again how nanotechnology is going to save the world."
